VEX CRO-Down 2026

VT CRO’s VEX robotics competition, where high school and university teams design, build and compete with VEX robots in head-to-head matches.

CRO-Down is the VEX robotics competition VT CRO hosts at Virginia Tech. Teams design, build and compete with VEX robots in a series of head-to-head matches, and spectators watch the engineering, programming and problem-solving that go into every robot.

The 2026 CRO-Down ran from 12:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, in Goodwin Hall, with a high school division (VEX V5 Robotics Competition) and a university division (VEX U).
